WYWY - Fridge Concert Series

The second concert of Season 44 features dream pop visionaries WYWY. Since 2015, X Alvarez and Mckie have built a sound all their own, linking shimmering synth textures with guitar-driven rhythms and haunting, celestial vocals. This night marks a special milestone - WyWy will headline and perform their entire album, "Whispers of Existence," live for the first time. Six years in the making, this labor of love promises to envelop you in ethereal soundscapes and raw emotion. Visual artists Memoryalland Flowell join forces to create an atmosphere filled with moments of disarming beauty, transporting you into the album's dreamlike world. 

Modular synth master Serg Volant kicks off the night on October 8th with an ambient set, blending live recordings, rich textures, and oscillators into an immersive soundscape. He’s joined by multi-instrumentalist Maudyf, whose mind-bending guitars and dreamy Balearic pads add to the unforgettable experience.
