Carols By Candlelight

The Fridge was honored to create, produce and deliver the first Carols by Candlelight show at Expo City in December 2022. The 90-minute show was curated with the love and magic of Christmas as its guide and took visitors on a magical journey, conjuring up images of roasting chestnuts by the fire, fresh falling snow and twinkling fairy lights. As the night descended Al Wasl Plaza was transformed into a magical snow globe and whisked the audience away on an immersive adventure.

The showpiece had something for the whole family from Santa to singalongs and dancing to Christmas classics. The sold out performances featured a childrens and adult choir accompanied by an 15 piece orchestra and well-known talents across cultures including Filipino star Darren Espanto, Lebanese powerhouse Yamane El Hage and English crooner Joe Stilgoe who sang classics in English, Arabic and Tagalog. They were supported by live musicians, dancers and a wonderful festive choir with a special appearance from the man of the moment, Santa Claus.
